Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
With Memorial Day weekend coming up, it really feels like it’s about to officially be summer…thank heavens!
I don’t know why, but I feel SO READY for summer! Maybe I say that every year, but I think I’m just craving some more low key days, sunny weather, and a bit more downtime. Of course, it feels somewhat funny to say this because it’s not like most of us operate on a school schedule and have the whole summer off…so admittedly, while I do still have to work, I’m just really ready to embrace the mindset of summertime.

I mentioned this perfect crewneck sweatshirt (that is on sale for $30!) on my Instagram Stories and it quickly became my best selling product from the past week. I think this shows how much we all love a well-priced closet staple! I’ve tried so many sweatshirts over the years (from $250+ versions to inexpensive options like Hanes) and this one remains my tried & true favorite.
I find this sweatshirt to be oversized; I get my true size XL for a baggy fit and size down to a L for it to be more fitted.
Style:
Did you see that Coco Shop launched their summer collection?! As always, it’s full of beautiful floral prints. Our favorite Scoop Neck Dress (that I wore to a wedding last month) is back in stock in this light blue floral pattern.
I take my true size (XL) in their dresses.
The team at Dorsey jewelry kindly sent me this gold link bracelet and I have to say, I’m so impressed with it! It instantly dresses up any outfit and has the look of a chic piece that might have been passed down from a grandmother or great aunt. My mom has been in town and she borrowed it to wear to dinner last night. If Tory approves, you know it’s good ;)
The bracelet isn’t solid gold, but is made of 18k gold coated brass. I’m happy to report that the piece is a nice weight and has a beautiful true 18k gold shine.
I’ve been chatting with many of you about these Nili Lotan Shon Pants after sharing them the other day. I’d never purchased anything from the brand before, but my friend Elyse suggested I give them a try when I mentioned that I was on the hunt for pants that are nicer than loungewear but ideally equally comfortable. I’m beyond impressed by how comfortable these pants are…they truly feel like you are wearing sweatpants.
These pants run very large; it seems that most people size down one, if not two sizes. I am typically a size 16 in pants but take a size 12 in these (meaning I ordered down 2 sizes).
Beauty:
My mom and one of our close family friends visited me in New York last week and I was thrilled when both of them mentioned loving the longwear Chanel lipstick I always recommend. The liquid formula is one of the only lip products I’ve found where the color truly lasts on my lips for hours.
This lip product comes in tons of colors and I’d recommend trying it in a store to find your best color. My favorite hues are usually in the 40s number range; for example, I love shade 40 (“Light Rose”) and shade 43 (“Sensual Rose”).
As many of you know, I love the Jones Road Miracle Balm - it’s a multi-purpose product that gives you a perfect light-from-within glow. The brand just launched a sets of Mini Sized Miracle Balms (available for a limited time), which could be a great way to try the product or test some different colors.
My favorite colorways are “Miami Beach” and “Flushed”.
Needlepoint:
I finally finished stitching the dog collar and leash for Fitz, and I am sending them off to be finished by Hill Top Leather.
Decor:
Are you all enjoying peony season as much as I am?! They are, without a doubt, one of my favorite flowers. I buy some each week and keep some at my desk or in my living room in these recycled-glass vases.
How fun is this beautiful blue and white shell shaped platter? My mom just ordered one and it looks lovely. (Note: It’s quite large. I was tempted to order one as well but I think it would take up too much space in a NYC apartment.)
Reading, Listening, Watching:
Did anyone else watch the Oprah x Weight Watchers TV special last week? It was LONG (3 hours) but covered some important topics about diet culture and our society. I was thrilled to see Katie Sturino (a great IG follow) as part of the conversation.
I’m on book #4 of the Magnolia Parks book series. (Think of it as the British version of a Gossip Girl and crime empire!)
