Beaded necklaces for the summer, a quick makeup routine and more!

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!
We're back with another edition of New & Noteworthy. This week, I highlight a few makeup products I've been reaching for this summer and dive into my favorite sources for colorful beaded necklaces. And then, as always, we have a roundup of my favorite sale finds and new launches.
As always, thank you so much for being here! xo Nan
QUICK SUMMER MAKEUP
In the warmer weather, I rarely wear as much makeup as I do during the rest of the year; it just feels too hot in the summer months. Yet, I still tend to put on a few products each morning to look a little more alive!
As of late, my go-to products have been:
Anthelios UVmune 400 Invisible Fluid SPF50+ from La Roche Posay
*I buy the European version of this SPF, which is a bit harder to order…but for me, the hassle is worth it. I am linking to a site I have had success with in the past regarding shipping to the US.
Super Tinted Hydrator from UBeauty - I wear shade 3
It feels slightly odd to suggest a tinted moisturizer as a summer makeup product, but to me, it never feels heavy; instead, it just feels like a skincare product with a perfect, slight tint that helps take away some of my redness. My skin quickly soaks in this product, so I barely feel it on my skin throughout the day (my ideal feeling for summer makeup!) I would say this gives you that ‘you’ but better feel, I can still see my freckles but my skin seems slightly smoother or blurred in a nice way.
Eyebrow Gel from Kosas - I wear the shade Medium Brown
In all candor, I don’t have quite as much to say about this product as the others mentioned here; I simply have not tried as many eyebrow gels because I have been happy with this one for years.
Benetint Lip Stain from Benefit - in the original Benetint shade
I am sure we have all seen the viral Amazon lip stain (that goes on as a sparkly purple…!) I tried it, but I didn't like it; it left an odd aftertaste on my lips….
But then I remembered this old-school lip product from Benefit, and I've been using it constantly over the last few months.
I love the long-lasting effect of a lip tint and how it dries down to feel like you have nothing on your lips!

BEADED NECKLACES
I don't know what it is, but by the time the summer rolls around, I want to wear all the beaded necklaces! Maybe because they can be such a fun pop of color?
On the fancier end of the spectrum ($150+) - I have one great blue beaded necklace from Theodosia, a green beaded necklace from Adina Reynert and then a few chunkier beaded styles from Lizzie Fortunato.
I wanted to add a few more beaded necklaces to my collection for this summer but was trying not to spend too much, so I turned to Etsy to see if I could find anything. I ended up ordering a few necklaces from an Etsy shop based in Hong Kong, and I am happy to report that the quality does not disappoint (and neither does the under $50 price point!!)
I have this Green Beaded Necklace (18 inches, I removed the gold Buddha charm it comes with.) This Tiger Eye Necklace (again 18 inches) and this more dainty Lapis Beaded Necklace (17 inches, again I removed the pearl charm.)
My only note is that it took about two weeks for the necklaces to arrive after I ordered them, which is understandable given that they were shipping internationally.

SALES TO BROWSE
Cabana - one of my favorite spots online for unique and chic home decor is Cabana’s site. They have curated such a lovely array of items.
Their summer sale is worth a look (a few things have sold out but there are still some great finds!)
I mean this backgammon board - LOVE!
Greystone Needlepoint - It's Christmas in July! Enjoy 20% off site-wide on all orders over $100 - discount shown in cart.
I love this pink picture frame and this ‘Welcome’ sign - both of which I have personally stitched!
Loeffler Randall - another great summer sale (30% off select styles!)
This gingham skirt is too cute - it surely would be too short on me but for anyone on the shorter side, you might need this!
Speaking of gingham, this tote bag caught my eye!
If you are on the hunt for a versatile black dress, maybe this will be the one?!
Moda Operandi Home - another great site to browse for home decor is Moda Operandi and a range of their home items are up to 40% off!
I’m tempted to order this pretty ceramic canister (as treat storage for Fitz!)
Nili Lotan - new styles added to the sale, items up to 50% off
You all know that I love Nili Lotan, but because of how pricey their items are, I do try to buy their styles when they are on sale (if possible).
This beautiful navy jacket is included in the sale and calling my name (I have tried this on before and it was lovely, my usual size, a XL, worked for me.)
The Nordstrom Sale - As many of you know, I love Nordstrom (they always win me over with their excellent return policy), but I generally think their entire ‘Nordstrom Anniversary Sale’ is overhyped by many influencers. To each their own, of course, but I did not see many sale items that caught my eye. The one item I did have my eye on (a mini blush set from Westman Atelier) has already sold out… The only other thing I might recommend is this under $100 Cashmere Crewneck from Nordstrom’s in-house brand - my mom has a few of these and likes them!
NEW ARRIVALS
Hill House - their last drop of the summer season did not disappoint (which is no surprise!)
I love how chic this white blouse looks - I love how they have it paired with matching shorts, but I think it could also look great with white jeans.
If you are a color or pattern gal, this pink set seems really fun!
Lewis -
I can not get over how cute these pouches are with the lobster pattern. I already own many of these pouches from Lewis in other prints (they're great for everything from makeup to needlepoint storage!)
The quilted toiletry bags also look really cute, and then if I had little kiddos, I would surely grab the cute new duffle bags!

ON INSTAGRAM
Instagram Stories Links — here is a roundup of all the links I shared on Instagram stories this past week.
I made a trip down to Kennebunkport, Maine, with friends to visit the new needlepoint store, Destination Needlepoint.
Speaking of Maine, I also went out to dinner in Portland this week, to Twelve, which I think is holding its spot as my favorite Portland restaurant. (It is fancy and pricey but terrific!)

I shared a few photos from 4th of July weekend — the links for everything I wore can be found here.
I re-linked my favorite white linen pants (also available in plus size.)
I shared a few quick renovation photos and asked you all for advice on short term furnished rentals in New York City. The most popular recommendations were Blueground and Furnished Quarters.
