Now that beach season is here, I wanted to share a quick round-up of my favorite beach coverups - from patterned sarongs to easy ‘throw on and go’ dresses!

Below you will find details on the brands and styles I wear summer after summer.

Happy Shopping!

  • Relaxed-Fit Linen Beach Shirt from J.Crew

    • If I had to only pick one beach cover-up to wear time and time again, it would be this oversized button-up linen beach dress from J.Crew.

    • Summer after summer, I will buy it in a new colorway (this summer I bought the white version). It's the perfect, easy layer for the beach.

    • Sizing: I size up one size, so instead of my usual XL, I size up to a XXL for an even more oversized fit.

Block Print Sarongs

  • Julia Amory

    • One of my go-to spots for sarongs (or pareos) is Julia Amory. The brand always has them in a fun array of colorful prints.

    • I also like them because they are slightly longer than many other brands, making them easier to tie around my waist.

  • Etsy

    • I have also had good luck finding fun sarongs on Etsy over the years! I am sure that there are countless vendors on Etsy for sarongs but this is the one shop I have personally ordered sarongs from!

    • The shipping takes a little bit, but otherwise, I have had great luck with their items.

  • Mirth

    • The third place I turn for sarongs is Mirth.

    • Each summer, they typically launch one or two new colorful block-printed sarongs. This summer I ordered both of their new patterns - the Grappa Minnow and the Primrose.
