From lip balm to hair tools, a wide range of gift ideas for the women who love all things beauty. Plus - a link to all my other gift guides!!
In chatting with you all on Instagram over the past few days - it seems you are ready for Gift Guides!
To start, I have compiled a list of gift ideas for the ‘Beauty Gal’ aka anyone in your life who loves all things skincare, makeup, nails, hair, etc. I hope you find a range of gift ideas!!
xo Nan
First up - lets chat about these chic toothbrushes! I think these are such a fun gift for under $25!
Yes, we all already own toothbrushes but I am sure everyone could use a little upgrade / refresh from their cheap plastic version. Or if someone has a fancy electric toothbrush they might still need a new toothbrush for travel.
This just feels like such a fun and unique gift!!
I think every gal would always be happy to receive some new lip products!
Maybe it is a super nourishing lip balm or a more classic (and well priced) option.
I have been loving this pretty lip oil as of late. (promo: NANP20)
As you all know, I am always recommending my tried-and-true favorite long lasting lipstick (I like shade 57.)
This set of three lipsticks would also make a great gift! (I am tempted to order myself just for the cute green and pink packaging.)
I don’t think anyone can ever have enough hand cream in the winter months, so that always makes a great gift!
A friend gave me this bougie hand cream once and it was such a fun gift.(Speaking of fancy brands, this cuticle cream would make a nice stocking stuffer.)
Or maybe you are buying a gift for a gal who likes to try all the newest brands, if so, I would recommend this hand serum. (promo: NAN10)
But also, don’t forget that everyone’s feet also get dry in the winter. So maybe you want to gift this hand and foot duo. (promo: NAN15)
Every beauty gal loves a fresh manicure!
How fun is this luxe nail polish set?(promo: NAN15)
I know that I for one could always use a refresh of my nail polishes (they seem to go bad after a year or so…don’t you think?) I love the idea of receiving 10 new polish colors in this chic leather zip box.
I think we would all be thrilled to receive anything in a orange box, even nail polish!
Face masks or face mask adjacent products are always a great gift because they typically work for any skin type (where other skincare can be more personal.)
These re-usable under eye patches make a great $25 gift.
I swear by this brightening face mask - I love to use it before I have any type of event. (promo:NAN10)
I always wear this terry cloth headband whenever I have a face mask on — it would make a fun under $10 gift.
Next up, body care!
My go-to gift last year was this super moisturizing body treatment that you use in the shower - aka it lets you skip the dreaded post shower moisturizer step. (promo: NAN20)
In our family, we like to give very practical and sometimes slightly unique gifts in our stockings. Something like a shave soap bar (that is $8) feels like exactly the type of item I could find in my stocking.
If you are shopping for a gal who loves baths - these solid oil bath ‘pebbles’ make a lovely gift. (promo: NAN-15)
Hair related gifts can be a tad trickier, as it would be hard to buy someone shampoo or what not. But I think hair accessories or any hair tools can be nice gifts!
One of my favorite new product discoveries this year was these chic and colorful hair clips! I have a few sizes/colors and I always get compliments on them.
This red velvet bow would be such a fun early holiday gift!
I swear by this micro fiber hair towel and have given it to many friends over the years! (promo: NAN15)
Speaking of Crown Affair, I also love this gift set they launched. The mini green brush!! (promo: NAN15)
And then if you really wanted to SPLURGE - I think anyone would be thrilled to receive a Dyson Airwrap Styler if they do not already own it. This baby does it all - you can blow dry or curl your hair just by switching attachments.
We talked a bit about makeup bags and pouches in this recent Substack post but I quickly want to mention this again because I feel like most gals could always use a fresh makeup bag. (I don’t know if it is just me but I feel like my makeup bags can get dirty and pretty worn after a few years…so I could always use a replacement but it is not really the type of thing I rush to re-buy myself…aka why it is a great gift.)
I have used these leather vanity bags for years (and I love the option to monogram them for a more personalized gift.)
I personally have my eye on this green patterned set of three makeup bags.
And then this liberty print pouch is a great under $50 gift.
Lastly, scents!
In concept, I love the idea of giving people a candle but then I get anxiety about if they will like the scent I chose….but this votive set feels like the perfect solution! What a fun way to test out 5 scents from Hotel Lobby.
In that same vein, I also love the idea of gifting this mini perfume set. I met the founders of DS&Durga earlier this fall and learned that all of their scents are designed to be layered with each other - so I love that you can really play around and make the scents your own.
Also - it doesn’t hurt that this set includes three of my favorite DS&Durga scents: I Don’t Know What, Debaser and Jazmin Yucatan!
And there you have it, a wide range of gift ideas for anyone who loves all things beauty! I hope these gifts are fun and helpful to you.
Over the next few weeks, I will continue sharing these more detailed gift guides, so you can know exactly why I love something. But in the meantime, if you are ready to shop you can find all my gift guides HERE.
You will find:
Gifts Under $50 (aka Stocking Stuffers)
Gifts for You (because lets be honest…sometimes we have to shop for ourselves or at least send a very clear list and directions to our love ones!)
While I have you: Tomorrow (Monday 11/11) is the last day of the Fall Sephora Sale.
If you have a Sephora account you can get 10-20% off with code: SAVINGS depending on your account level (aka how much you have spent throughout the year.) Candidly, I find this sale a bit over-hyped but it can be a good time to stock up on your favorite products.
As always, I have all my favorite sale finds saved HERE. I think a better sale purchase might be these cashmere socks (code: SHOPFAST) or buying some chic belts (20+% off when you spend $200+)
