Happy Saturday! I hope you all are having a great start to the weekend!
I am quickly popping in your inbox to let you know that I have changed email providers and migrated my email newsletter over to Substack.
To all my longtime email subscribers these emails might look a bit different but rest assured, everything is staying mostly the same and you will continue to receive my email updates directly to your inbox. There is no need for you to re-subscribe or do anything on your end.
By switching to the Substack platform, I will be able to offer you all a wider range of content as well as a better customer interface. You can continue to expect weekly email updates that will cover all our typical content — fashion, beauty, home decor, needlepoint, and travel.
As always, thank you so much for being here. I am so grateful to have you as part of my community!
Stay tuned for Mother’s Day gift ideas in my next email in a few days!

While I have you, here are links to a few things we have chatted about this past week on instagram:
If you are a kindle gal like me, I love these fun and colorful kindle cases.
I am going to a wedding next week and will be wearing these block heels (they are my go-to wedding guest shoe because they are actually comfortable to wear for hours on end.)
I was on the hunt for a new iphone case and found this one on Amazon.
My favorite t-shirt. (It also doesn’t hurt that it is under $20!)
How beautiful is this new raffia handbag from Loewe!
FAQ about Substack:
I am confused, what is Substack?
Substack is an online platform for subscription newsletters. Content is sent directly to the email inbox of subscribers but it also lives online allowing for easy access to a archive of content, the ability to like and comment on posts, paid subscriptions and more!
For the past year or so, I have been an avid follower and consumer of content on Substack. There are countless newsletter that I subscribe to (stay tuned for a roundup of my favorites!)
I love the range of functionality Substack provides - from the ability to comment on posts, to easily included video or podcast content, and a ‘chat’ area where subscribers can chat directly with each other. I have countless ideas of how I could utilize this platform to offer more fun and engaging content to everyone!
To start, I don’t want to get ahead of myself and will stick to one or a few emails a week. But in time, I am excited to dive into more avenues of content on Substack. Let me know in the comments below if there is anything you would love to see from me in this newsletter / Substack?
Do I need the substack app:
No, you do not need to download any app or do anything differently to find my email content. Everything will continue to come directly to your email inbox.
However, if you subscribe to more than just one or two Substack emails, it might be well worth it to download their app. I have become a big fan of their app in recent months as it is a great way to more easily access current and past posts from all your favorite writers and engage by liking posts or commenting.
Do I need to start paying for this email subscription:
No! I will continue to always offer a wide range of my content for free.
There is the option to become a paid subscriber or a small monthly fee or annual fee. For now, this is simply a way to support my work and the time and energy that goes into creating this content. In time, I plan to expand and offer exclusive content to my paid community (such as a group chat so we can all talk directly, exclusive content that is more personal, and more!)
But for now, I just want to learn the ins and outs of Substack and get this platform up and running. I will update you all once I start to dive into more exclusive content for my paid subscribers.
keep the Nan content coming! xx
I too love substack and have been thinking about making the switch. Nothing is ever as easy as it looks from the outside🙄, and I know how much works goes into your posts. Thank you for sharing your thinking with such a well written summary of the platform. Look forward to following along and seeing how it goes! 🩵 meg
