New & Noteworthy // 04.05.2025
Indigo print dresses, a soothing wakeup routine, work-from-home pants and more.

Happy Weekend!
I am back with this week’s New & Noteworthy roundup. From breezy indigo sundress to the pants I’ve been living in while working from home, here’s my latest roundup of what I’ve been loving lately. Plus, a few spring sales worth browsing and a gadget that’s made my mornings slightly more bearable.
I am traveling at the end of next week and into that upcoming weekend (I will be in San Francisco and Carmel, California), so I might not have a New & Noteworthy round-up next weekend…but stay tuned for a new Tried & True Interview later this week.
As always, thank you for being here! xo Nan
INDIGO PRINTS
Last week, Mirth launched one of my favorite collections that they launch every spring, their Indigo Collection.
These blue and white fabrics are hand-block-printed with natural indigo dyes by master printers in India. (I highly recommend watching this Instagram Reel showing a behind-the-scenes look at how the patterned fabric is made.)
While I usually gravitate toward the Vienna Dress (a chic maxi dress that looks amazing on everyone!), this year, I opted for the Corsica Sundress. It has a halter-style neckline that I find chic and unlike anything else in my closet.
For sizing reference, I take my true size in Mirth—an XL.

A SMOOTHER WAKEUP
Back in the beginning of the year, I started using a new alarm clock that also doubles as a sound machine and bedside light.
Now that we’re somehow already a quarter of the way through the year (!), I wanted to report back: my Hatch Restore has truly made waking up a bit easier.
Candidly, I’m not much of a morning person; or more accurately, I always want just a little more time in bed. So while I will never be one to LOVE waking up, I do think my wakeups feel noticeably easier thanks to the “sunrise” feature.
For the ‘sunrise feature,’ you can schedule the light to gradually turn on over a set period before your alarm goes off. I have mine set to slowly glow brighter, starting ten minutes before my actual alarm. As someone who’s pretty sensitive to light while sleeping, I feel like this gradual shift must subtly start to wake me up because I find I don’t feel as shocked when the sound of my alarm goes off.
And instead of the harsh ring of an iPhone alarm, you can select from a range of soothing sounds. (I wake up to a “meditative flute”!)
Note: Hatch offers a monthly subscription for more sound and lighting options, but I’ve found the free version to have more than enough options for me. You do need to download the Hatch app to adjust your settings and get everything set up.

WORK FROM HOME PANT
Lately, I’ve been continually reaching for the Baby Rib Scallop Pant from Donni. These are just as soft and comfortable as your favorite fleece sweatpants, but the lightweight jersey fabric makes them perfect for warmer Florida weather.
On days when I’m not seeing anyone—i.e., working from home, walking Fitz quickly, or doing a quick errand like dropping off dry cleaning or grabbing a coffee via the drive-through, I will always opt for comfort over style. I’m just not going to wear rigid denim if I don’t have to!
If you’re like me and want a truly comfortable “work from home” pant or something cozy to change into when you get home, I highly recommend this pair from Donni. I own the Charcoal-Grey color, and I am tempted to buy a second pair in brown. I usually style them with this striped long-sleeve and sometimes tie a sweater around my waist.
Note: I still love my Donni Kick Flares, but I find this jersey pant even more casual and sweatpant-like.
For sizing, I take my true size XL in these Baby Rib Scallop Pants, they are a touch short on my 5’11 frame but I just go with it…
NEW ARRIVALS
Lake Pajamas dropped new spring styles, including a few pieces in their perfect seersucker fabric. I already own and love this seersucker nightgown; it is perfect for hot summer nights. I was also gifted this cute short set, and it’s lovely!
Both run true to size, in my experience.
Le Lion launched new sweater styles for Spring/Summer 2025. I love the look of this cotton lady jacket in ivory. While Le Lion is known for their chic embroidery, I’d skip the embellishment on this one and leave it as is—clean and classic.
SALES
Loeffler Randall is having a spring sale with 30% off select styles at checkout.
I’m eyeing this black dress. I probably don’t need another black dress, but… I am tempted nonetheless.
Tuckernuck launched their spring sale, styles are up to 60% off!
I own and love this Leopard Shift Dress—see it in action here.
Note: Tuckernuck’s shorter dresses run short on me! In this shift, I sized up to an XXL to try and get more length. If length isn’t a concern for you, go with your true size.
Cadence products are 20% off through April 9.
I’ve been a longtime fan of Cadence. I think their travel-size containers are so smart—I actually just bought a few more so I can bring my own shampoo and conditioner when I travel. (This is not something I used to do, oddly! But then I get to hotels and miss my own shampoo…!)
INSTAGRAM RECAP
I shared an easy weekend outfit of jeans, a navy button-down shirt, and sandals that I wore to brunch last weekend. The real star of the outfit was my Savette purse. Shop the whole look here.
My mom was wearing the cutest long-sleeved sundress on Monday; I love the fun sea-shell pattern.
On Tuesday I wore black jeans and my new long sleeve from La Ligne. You can watch my video here or shop the look here.
On Thursday, I highlighted one of my favorite small female-founded brands, March Hare, in an Instagram post. If you are on the hunt for a chic, timeless, and well-made watch that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, they are your answer!
I mentioned that I try to keep a journal; I use this inexpensive notebook but keep it in this chic leather folder.
I shared a few new (to me) beauty products in Instagram stories, including this classic lip tint, a tubing mascara, and a blush/bronzer duo.
I wore my favorite black easy dress, the Ischia Dress from Doen. It runs a touch big, so maybe size down. I also wear a slip with it.
In my Instagram Channel, I raved about my Thermal Label Printer that makes returns or shipping of really anything so much easier.
I mentioned this Hair Styling Cream Taming Wand in my Instagram Stories and received countless DMs afterward. If you have trouble with baby hairs or fly-away hairs, this product is such a game-changer!
Love you in the indigo halter dress, Nan! Such neat style advice, as always.
Obsessed with the Donni baby rib pant and recently ordered a second pair!
