Happy May!! It is crazy to me that we are already into the fifth month of this year. Where does the time go? But I am also very ready for long summer days in Maine, so I am happy to welcome the new month that brings us one step closer to summer.
I hope you all had lovely weekends - I popped down to Massachusetts for one night to see my brother and his family (they just got a new golden retriever puppy that Fitz and I were excited to meet!)
As usual, I am back with a New & Noteworthy post to highlight some recent favorites, new discoveries, a fun interview and more. Thanks for being here.

WHITE JEANS…!
I have a love-hate relationship with white jeans. In concept, I love the look, but in reality, finding a pair that is flattering is oh SO hard. With the summer months around the corner, I thought I would share the pairs that work best for me.
The Ruler Jean from Frame in Au Natural Clean
They have a nice little bit of stretch, making them my most comfortable pair of white jeans. The color leans a bit on the cream side vs. a bright white.
Sizing: I take my usual size (33) in these.
90s Mid Rise Loose Jean from Agolde in Fortune Cookie
This is my newest find, so I don’t have too many photos of them yet, as I just bought them last week. I already own and love this jean style in a blue wash (see a photo here) so I knew it was likely that this white colorway would be a winner.
Sizing: I wear my usual size (33) in these; they are a bit loose on my waist, so I might get them tailored here.
90’s Pinch Waist High Rise Straight from Agolde in Marshmello
I think this pair is possibly the most flattering (as it has the longest inseam, 29.5 inches), but they are also sort of the least comfortable, if that makes sense? They are what I reach for if I want to look my best but not necessarily what I would wear for a long day of running around.
Sizing: I take my bigger size (34) in these.
SUTTON’S LIPSTICK
As you all know, I am a big Bravo gal! I watch and love almost all the Real Housewives franchises, and one of my favorite cities is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. When I watched the reunion episodes the other week, I realized I really liked Sutton Stracke’s makeup, particularly her perfect soft pink lipstick.
Like the crazy internet sleuth that I am, I stalked her Instagram to see who her makeup artist was (Bryan Mendez), and then I went so far as to DM him to ask what lipstick he used on her. Bryan just got back to me (which candidly I didn’t expect would even happen, but I figured why not try) and gave me a breakdown of exactly what he used.
You better believe that I ordered each and every product oh so fast - I’ll be sure to report back once I receive everything! But in case you also want to give the look a try, here is the breakdown:
Lip liner: Sorme Lipliner in shade Natural Nude
Lipstick: Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in JK Magic mixed with Kidman’s Kiss
HEY SWEETIE INTERVIEW
My Instagram turned real-life friend, Madeleine Fawcett, featured me on her Substack this week!! It was fun to chat with her about everything from what I am up to at work, my favorite beauty must-haves and more.
One of her questions was: Top 5 General Must-Haves. My answer:
Therapy. I’m a big therapy girlie! I genuinely think everyone can benefit from it. Life is hard, and having a space to process things can be SO helpful.
Alone Time. I’m an introvert at heart, and I really need alone time to recharge.
Fun Hobbies. I love hobbies! Needlepoint, knitting, reading, mahjong, any sort of craft - you name it, I am game to try it. For my next big project, I think I want to sew a quilt, but I am not sure if that is too ambitious?!
A Sweet Treat. I have a major sweet tooth, especially for dark chocolate. While I know we all want to be as healthy as possible, I also think life is short so why not order dessert!?
Dogs! I got my Cavapoo, FitzGibbon, last year, and it was one of my best life decisions. I am obsessed with him and have surely become one of those crazy dog moms. If you’re thinking about it: get the dog!! It’s work, but oh so worth it.
I hope you might click over and give the interview a read and be sure to subscribe to Madeleine’s substack for more interviews and all her chic fashion finds!
