New & Noteworthy // 09.07.2025
This week's roundup includes the last book I read, some chic cardigans and coats, a new foundation and more!

Happy Sunday. I hope you are having a lovely weekend!
This past week felt hectic for me - that ‘back to school’ feel was in the air and my to-do list felt miles long. I am grateful for the weekend and a moment to recharge and rest. Tomorrow, I leave Maine and will be in New York City for a few days. I am excited to see friends and check in on my apartment renovation! But I think this upcoming trip also made the past week feel even a touch more hectic (why does it always feel like there is so much to do before you travel?)
For this week’s edition of New & Noteworthy, I highlight a range of fun new arrivals and a recap of content I shared over on Instagram. I hope you find a few things that might catch your eye or inspire you.
Until next time, xo!
READING, WATCHING & LISTENING
We launched a new episode on my podcast, Gems & Friends, this week, where we chat with the wonderful .
This week I read Culpability by Bruce Holsinger - I saw recommend this and I am really glad that I followed her suggestion. (Oprah also recommends the book if you need extra motivation.)
The fictional tale follows a family of five and their life after surviving a dangerous car crash, all with the impact of AI seeping into multiple facets of their life. I can never quite decide where I stand on AI…do I hate it, or do I think I need to get on board? All in all, the book really made me think. (It feels like it could be a great book club book!)
I enjoyed this Substack post from interior designer about all the items she brings when she does a client install.
NEW ARRIVALS
Alex Mill launched a range of new fall styles.
I love the look of this longer barn jacket, and this green cardigan is a new addition to my wishlist.
Barbour and Tuckernuck collaborated on a collection of women’s jackets.
I am a longtime Barbour fan — I just think they really make an amazing quality jacket for autumn in New England.
PS. Have you seen the images of Tuckernuck’s new NYC store on Madison Avenue?! It looks beautiful.
Ciao Lucia launched some new autumn styles, and this chic black cropped coat quickly caught my eye!
Janessa Leone launched some super chic handbags - they are giving sort of a cool Hermes Kelly vibe but for a much better price.
As you all know, I love Janessa Leone’s sunhats (this is my favorite style) but I think I might need to try their bags next!!
J.Crew more or less always has a great Autumn Collection and as such, their new arrivals do not disappoint.
Khaite launched a new bag style, the Blake Crossbody Bag, and it looks very chic and practical.
It reminds me a lot of my favorite #OldCeline bag, the Medium Box Bag.
La Ligne relaunched their Molly Stretch High-Rise Jean in classic black.
Mirth launched their second drop of their Autumn Collection and so many of the chunky sweaters are calling my name!

SoldoutNYC launched some new lightweight sweaters that caught my eye - you all know I am such a cardigan gal!
I updated my Shopbop Hearts just yesterday - so lots of good items to browse there!
Victoria Beckham launched a foundation with Augustinus Bader, and I am oh so curious about it!
I want to see if I can go try it on in person somewhere when I am in NYC this coming week - maybe on the beauty floor at Bergdorf’s or the new Violet Grey store on the UES.
Speaking of Victoria Beckham Beauty - you all have seen me RAVE about this lip stain, I reach for it multiple times a week. (I own shade Je t'aime but I think I also want to buy Poupette next.) I also own and love this waterline pencil and this bronzer (shade 1.)
SALE FINDS
No major sales of note are currently on my radar (which is understandable, as it feels like everyone had a sale last week for Labor Day).
However, you can always browse my promo codes to find exclusive discounts!
