Outfit Details: September
Nine outfits I wore this month and the standout pieces I reached for again and again.
Did the past month fly by? Or was it just me?!
I think September always feels like a bit of a whirlwind month, doesn’t it? It feels like everyone (even people like me who have no kids or connection to anything school related) have that ‘back to school’ energy! But I sort of love the feeling of a ‘fresh start’ that happens during this time of year (it is sort of like January/the new year but far less daunting.)
But no matter how you slice it, this last month felt busy. Be it with meetings, work events, catching up with friends, and travel - I felt like I was constantly running from one thing to the next. Candidly, my introvert self could use a bit of downtime and some lazy days at home (maybe that will happen in October) but nonetheless, it was fun to get dressed and be out and about.
I thought I would pop on here and share my nine favorite outfits that I wore throughout September. Looking back on all my outfits - I could easily spot some stand out pieces that I wore again and again (so you will find notes on those items below as well!)
Happy October! As always, thank you for being here!

NINE OUTFITS FROM SEPTEMBER
The links below will give you product links, sizing info and more for each look:
Based on these nine outfits and everything I wore in September, some standout items that I reached for again and again are:
Manolo Heels. Candidly, I really don’t like wearing heels…I am tall and don’t really need the extra height but at the same time, sometimes nothing can elevate a outfit the way a nice pointy toe heel can. My favorites always end up being from Manolo - they are just chic and classic.
*note, I find Manolos to run small. So I size up a 1/2 or sometimes full size in their shoes.
Cashmere Crewneck from COS. You all know I love a good sweater, especially one that is cashmere! I am continually so impressed with the cashmere sweaters from COS — I was first inspired to try them thanks to (Heather always has great product recommendations!) This simple crewneck sweater has become such a staple in my wardrobe! I own a dark brown colorway from last year and added the dark grey color to my closet this year.
*For sizing, I find these to run one size big, so the size Large fits me perfectly (even though I am normally more of a size XL.)
Pochette Bags from Savette. These small handbags are my favorite! I own the same style in two color ways and reach for one or the other almost every time I go out at night. I love the simplicity of the design and the lack of a logo.
Cotton Button Downs. As I have mentioned over on Instagram, I am currently on my ‘button down journey’ as I add more of them to my closet and figure out exactly how to style them. I have ordered a wide range of button downs from various brands and I want to hold off on declaring a favorite just yet…I still have a few more to try! However, I can share that so far the Navy Button Down (runs one size big, so the size L works for me) and White Button Down (true to size, I take the XL) included in these outfits above are ranking as top contenders! I have been really happy with both of them.
THRILLED to see the button down outfits in this post. I've loved following along on this journey!
