If you follow me on Instagram, you might already know that I love all things skincare and makeup!
I am the person who is always buying new products and testing things out. However, I have a handful of tried and true favorite makeup products that I tend to always circle back to. I thought I would share my go-to makeup routine with you all as a way to highlight these products that I love and always reach for.
To be clear - I am NO makeup artist and have had no formal training…this is just a compilation of tips I have picked up over the years and what seems to work for me.
I actually keep saying that I really want to take a makeup lesson! I think it could be so helpful to learn some professional tips and tricks. Let me know if anyone has suggestions for that in NYC?
I know Credo Stores offers 1-on-1 Makeup Application Sessions, I just keep forgetting to actually go in and book a slot. At this point, this feels like something that I might push off until the new year… (Crazy to think that 2025 is right around the corner!)
And so, I will leave you with this quick video of my makeup routine and links to all the products I use. If you have any questions or want more details on why I love something, just drop a note in the comments.
Until next time!
xo Nan

You can find many of these products at various retailers — I personally buy the majority of my makeup from Sephora, Violet Grey, Credo and the beauty floor at Bergdorf’s.
While I love to shop online I do think it can be best to buy makeup in person so you can find your right shades. (And then re-order online once you know you love something!)
The Credo Stores or Bergdorf’s are my go-to spots for shopping in person in NYC — I find their staff much more helpful than you sometimes find at Sephora.
BUT it should be noted that Sephora does have a great return policy - they accept ‘gently used products’ up to 30 days after purchase, so if you do buy something online and come to find the color is not for you, I really appreciate that I can return the product even after I have opened it / used it for a bit.
Promo Codes:
Credo - NAN10 for 10% off site wide!
I am not sure if the promo works in store, I will ask their team and circle back!
RMS Beauty: NANP20 will save you 20% off on their website
While we are on the topic of beauty, here are some things that are on my radar in the world of skincare, makeup and beauty:
Everyone seems to be talking about Roz Haircare. I have not personally tried the brand yet but I keep hearing good things. Once my current shampoo runs out, I think I might need to buy their Shampoo & Conditioner Kit to give it a try.
I ordered this Lip Gift Set for friends as a holiday gift and am somewhat regretting that I did not also order one for myself. The thing is…I really don’t need any more lip products - I already own more than enough lip sticks, glosses, liners, etc…but I am just so curious to see if the product lives up to the hype?!
Now that it is officially freezing cold in New York - it means that it that time of year where I apply hand cream non-stop!
Each and every winter I try to hunt down the best of the best hand cream…and candidly, it feels like a never ending battle. Some are too greasy…others don’t seem to do enough.
Do you have a favorite super nourishing hand cream? Let me know in the comments?
I have a few L’Occitane Hand Creams scattered around my house…it just feels like a classic product but sometimes I find it too greasy and I don’t love the scent.
I keep this fancy hand cream in my purse and while it is chic…I am not sure it really does much for super dry and cracked hands.
I keep this Shielding Lotion in my kitchen - it is designed to give your hands a protective barrier to prevent moisture loss after lots of hand washing. Which I think it does well but sometimes I think I need something more intense.
When my hands are really dry (almost cracked) in the dead of winter - the best solution I have found is Working Hands but let me tell you, there is nothing chic about the packaging or product! Ha.
I want something like this but for it to be in chic, pretty packaging?! Is that too much to ask?
