Great round-up Nan! I've added both Long Bright River and The Pit to my watchlist now!! They both look good... esp The Pit (as a longtime medical drama fan who needs a fresh show that's not Grey's). Also love and appreciate your openness regarding political culture and dem support <3. Looking into that podcast rec!

Oh, thank you, Tricia; I so appreciate that.

And agreed - I wish I had 'a list' also! I have kept a journal pretty consistently since high school, so the movie certainly made me think that maybe I should go back and re-read some entries from those teen years. It could be interesting!

I noticed your mention of Dem influenced. I have to advise you to stay clear of politics. The mere mention makes me want to avoid your sub stack, which I might end up missing. If you do avoid the mention of it even so slightly, you will then have a devoted audience. No need to alienate some of your followers. Unless that is ok with you.

Katherine, thank you for your comment and feedback. As always, I plan to use my platform to share things that are of interest and importance to me. Some days, that might mean I am chatting about a great t-shirt or a new beauty find; other days, I might discuss politics and civic engagement. I would love to have you continue to follow along and be a part of this community, but I also respect your decision if you unfollow or avoid my Substack. Warmly, Nan
